You can tell the driver is a professional by the fact he makes it look so easy to drive.

Great video and lovely views of the countryside. I occasionally drive a Enviro400 but mostly drive Eclipse Geminis which I prefer out of the 2
  • nice vid I actually learned a lot just watching keep it up! I'm in more or less same place in my own life and planning to go driving soon. can I ask a couple questions pls? at the station bay, after you made your initial reverse move and gone to N something is challenging you and you use a fob to answer it, what is that all about? also I don't see you playing with a tacho, are the tachos fully automated these days? thanks

Hello from a fellow bus driver. Been in the job 15 years. Great video and very smooth driving buddy 👍 just as a side note, how annoying is that indicator beeping? I drove this exact type of bus with Stagecoach London and the indicators didn’t make a noise at all, not even a tick. That beeping would drive me potty 😂take care mate!

Hi I’m due to start with stagecoach soon leaving quite a high paying position to be a bus driver as I love driving and the idea of sort of being my own boss out on the road, just wandered what it’s really like shift wise and how hard is it to transition from car to bus? Many thanks and fantastic vid and pov.

  • Good point being struck by a vehicle at 20 MPH will do less damage than being struck at 30 MPH ... However back in my day we used to look to see if it was safe to cross the road ..Wait until it was clear and then cross with care... Looking both ways at all times until we were back on the pavement... In 2024 people walk across the road with a phone stuck in their hand staring at the screen and if you hit them with your vehicle you are somehow at fault (Not sure how that works however)
  • 20MPH roads really make my pi55 boil. Did you see the sign "Tell you off" for driving 1mph over the 20MPH limit... at 47:44 in this video ... What a total joke 20 MPH roads are. Sadly we will see more and more of these in the UK.
