The fans really carry this fandom edit: I intentionally worded it this way. Imagine getting mad over shitty wordplay.
  • The kyoshi Fandom literally said: if avatar isn't going to give us a kyoshi series WE WILL JUST DO IT OUR SELVES! Seriously though! This is great! Almost every single one of my favorite artists are in this, all except Cazzarts. Add on the fact that the intro! Its voiced by rangi! THATS AMAZING!

I love this! Props to Kelsang's va, this is almost exactly as I imagined him sounding in the books. Gotta admit, though, I was a bit surprised to see so much of Kuruk's story revealed.

Aight I'm gonna watch it over and over again because I will never get enough of this perfection. Comedic transition, soundtracks changing as emotions and situations differ, artwork and priceless effort had been spent, which one I should focus on more? Thank you for giving Kyoshi books life with your work. We are truly lucky since we have people like you in this fandom.

[SPOILER WARNING: do not read unless you have read the novels] Pretty great all around, but not a fan of the decision to reveal so much of Kuruk’s story right at the start. I love the way the novel initially frames the reader’s perception of Kuruk through the very critical eyes of Jianzhu and Kyoshi, then eventually reveals him as a misunderstood hero in Book 2. By putting all of that at the start, you spoil that twist for new viewers, and thus weaken the effect of Kyoshi’s arc with coming around on Kuruk. Personally, I would have opened with Jianzhu narrating, like the book does. Not only does this establish the general contempt for Kuruk, which we later get the catharsis of tearing down, but it also unconsciously biases the reader towards thinking of Jianzhu as a primary protagonist, making his later betrayal all the more shocking.
  • She is my favorite avatar, so strong and kick ass spirit. She is a perfect mix between anng and korra. Thank you so much for this video, I can't wait for the chapter 2.

The music, the voice actors, the timing and overall design and the ART?? Incredible work
  • This was executed beautifully!!! This is the avatar series we all need! I hope avatar studios really pursued Kyoshi!
  • @Bananaguy7
The art, the voice acting, it’s all so phenomenal! Subscribed! Also, little Kyoshi’s voice is so cute!!! :D
  • @hypnosegirl16
Oh I cannot wait for the rest! I hope Avatar Studios sees this! This is amazing, the voice acting is great!
  • @dylans.1741
The voice acting is seriously on point here, and the video game aesthetic is definitely an interesting take on the narrative. This kinda feels like a JRPG like Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy.
  • Kyoshi is now into 2 of the 3 avatar intros and couldn't be happier
  • WHY WOULD I PAY YOU IF SHES NOT THE AVATAR?!?! XD. You guys are off to a great start. 😅🤣
  • @Popchaaa0731
OMG A KYOSHI SERIESSS AHHHH I HOPE TO SEE MORE. Cant wait for the part when Kelsang discovers Kyoshi is the Avatar when she recites the love poem by Kuruk (for Hei-ran) which was disclosed only to Kelsang.

Hype! Edit: I read that in order to make longer episodes you’re going to need more people to do work. I’m not a great artist and an even worse composer, but I would love to help with voice acting. I’m not a native English speaker (though fluent) and haven’t really done any voice acting work before but I’d love to help with this project anyway if you would be willing to give me a shot.
