Excellent points Mike. I find myself wanting to engage more in pro tour coverage as I delve more into competitive events myself (and hope to qualify one day 🤞) but don't always know what i'm rooting for. Hopefully they make this stuff more transparent, sports analysis style!

Great explanation on the match points, and really feels like a continuation of the Cedric Phillips twitter thread a few months ago that talked about what made SCG successful. Getting invested in the people is what drives the interest. It also has the carry on effect of making people want to play more, you want the chance to get into the coverage view and be talked about.
