In this video, we look at my 2020 Yamaha Tracer 900 GT. I think this model is overlooked by many people, but it is built on the same platform as the MT-09. It uses the same powerful and torquey Cross Plane Triple (CP3) that Yamaha has become famous for. This motorcycle is an excellent choice for riders who want a powerful, comfortable motorcycle for touring, twisties, and maybe some light off-road.

With a top speed of 140 mph, 115 horses, and a fuel capacity of 4.3 gallons, this motorcycle is perfect for riders who want to go fast without spending a lot of money. Weighing only 450 pounds, this motorcycle is easy to handle and great for riders who want a bike that is comfortable and easy to ride. So if you're looking for a powerful motorcycle that does it all, check out the 2020 Yamaha Tracer 900 GT!

  • Turn the bars to the left for key use….I had the same issue, along with everyone else who’s ridden the bike. 👍🇨🇦🤪 Also, l have the road 6’s, and they pair well with this bike. Worth the money.

Great video. I have the 2015 FJ version. I’ve owned a lot of bikes over 3 decades, and it is my favorite ever. Maybe someday I’ll upgrade to this one. I’m using Pirelli Angel GT’s on mine and love them. Thanks for the vid!

Autonomis if you could do it over again, this bike or the new Tracer 9 GT? Update: Just picked up a lightly used 2020 model identical to your bike for a great price with low miles! Saved thousands over going with the new 9 GT plus all the BS dealer fees! Your right it's a great bike for longer rides & commuting! Keep these videos coming & ride safe!

I also own a tracer 900 GT since last saturday and I love it as well!😍 but i want to have a seat lifter as well. Do you have a link of that for me?
  • I just got the 22 in Liquid Metal. Quick little bike!! Definitely takes discipline not to wick it; I find I have a forward bias when I’m seated. One thing I’m looking to add is tank grips, I put them on my Monster 796 and they helped a lot. The signal switch and the kickstand are not well placed, those are my only complaints. Exhaust wise, I think I’m going to keep it stock.

omg, great video! Where did you get the seat riser? I need one because I keep sliding forward. thanks
  • What is wrong with people? Just turn the bars. That's why it's offset on the triples.

Cruse also cancels if you rotate the throttle forward 😊

I bought a 6 month old 2020 900GT with only 500 miles on it, I too got a cracking deal. I needed to change a few things to get it to suit me. 1) I bought a seat levelling kit as there is a definite slope into the tank which was uncomfortable 2) I had the uncomfortable stock seat reupholstered with memory foam and a non slip cover 3) Handlebar risers bringing the bars back another 2 inches 4) Crash bars fitted and added Highway pegs 5) Scottoiler fitted to save lubing the chain 6) fitted a short sports screen to stop wind buffeting These changes have made it a far more enjoyable bike to ride, that triple engine is a peach.

Bike looks awesome. The seat height looks really high.

Autonomis, where did you get your rubberized foot pegs? They probably work better than oem's, less vibrations on hwy.
  • @carvalhonj
Did you find a solution for highway foot pegs?
  • Oh the two face dash…Yamaha should have left it like that on pre 21, and they did switch it back on the GT+ for 2023 model.
