Just the other day I was thinking about how at just 16 yrs old grown men would show me interest. One of them was a law enforcement officer doing weekend security at a local festival. He would call my house and try and come pick me up. It gives me the chills to think about how I was pursued by grown, sometimes married, men... I thought it was flattering because they were so attractive, but in reality, it was predatory, pedophilic behavior. I am now a Mother to a gorgeous 17 yr old daughter and it's truly revolting and scary because this is still such a prevalent issue. 😔
