ppl will hate me for this but, sports betting is becoming outrageous. This is like the crypto run of 2021 where it’s being forced down everyone’s throats. If I were to put myself in players’ shoes, I’d say that most hate it and, as a fan, I hate it too.

I feel like you needed to explain to Shaq why it's so egregious that Pete Rose was banned. How he has BY FAR the most hits in baseball history, yet isn't in the hall of fame because he bet on his OWN team to win games. As a player? No. Not while he was a player and set the record for most hits. No, he got banned for betting on his OWN team to win when he became a manager. He shouldn't have been betting. No question. But, he wasn't throwing games and he didn't do it as a player (no evidence).

Why would any bookie let an interpreter get 4.5m in debt to them? They wouldn't. I don't think the MLB is going to put their full effort into this investigation and If they actually found anything we would never hear about it However it could be interesting to see if MLB would rather let Pete Rose into the hall of fame or keep the most talented baseball player there ever was in Shohei Ohtani.
