This is my latest video, Involving the traditional art of sign painting (Signwriting), in this video I paint a sign for Riverside tattoo. A tattoo shop in Peterborough, Ontario.

Sign was completed for the Traditional sign painting company.

Sign painting is an craft that has been practiced for hundreds of years, and maybe longer.
Sadly few artists still complete works like this by hand.

Great design, great skill. Love it.
  • Beautiful composistion again, the vibrancy and design is top notch again matey, the only thing I would say, to ease your pain on multicoating letters etc, is to leave te graphic areas under the lettering blank with just the base colour, it will save you time multicoating letters, and soften the the releif surface of the overlaying plane of the lettering on top, brillant stuff again, cheers for the timeyou put in to make these vids.

Grasp the roll of tape between the thumb and forefinger and then throw it as far from the easel as possible.

What kind of tape do you use? Is it masking tape? Drafting tape? Painters tape?

Did you wait for the paint to dry before painting the outline?
