we are all slowly finding out that our mammas were right. “its all because of that damn phone”
  • for me it’s so easy to make excuses; i don’t have any friends to hangout w in this new town, i don’t have any classes till the fall, i don’t wanna fall out of touch w my out of state friends/family. but at the end of the day doomscrolling is starting to feel more like day drinking than something to take the edge off. this video really inspired me, thank you, i’ll be deleting tiktok today

I love how mikayla is a real person and not just a 'perfect' influencer. its really cool how open she is with us and i hope she knows that we don't take it for granted and that its really meaningful and special. i love every single video and look forward to them so much, thank you for everything mikayla!!

I wish I could just block like the shorts on YouTube and the Reels on Instagram. That's where I find I actually spend hours scrolling without thought.

I'm on my 4th week of no Instagram and my life has never been better, I don't have tiktok so most of my social media time is YouTube (long form vids) and Pinterest It's so nice to be more present and living life without being influenced by trends or people, and being yourself without this influence

I really loved this video. :) I deal with heavy anxiety so I use social media as a constant distraction from my thoughts. But honestly, deep down I know it’s only causing more. This has told me it’s okay to turn off my screen and inspired me to start making steps to live my life more and on a screen less♥

Mikayla the ending to this video was so beautiful and touching, i was close to tears
  • I don't have social media anymore for about 2 months now, and i'm really proud of myself. I do have Youtube, but I feel like on YouTube, you only watch what interests you and what you like, which is not always the case on other social media platforms such as Instagram and Tiktok. :)

This video is so beautiful and raw. I could tell you were genuinely happy and it really gave me motivation to stop reaching for my phone 24/7 and start to live outside of that social media bubble again. Wonderful video, thank you mikayla🥹❤
