Why I DIDN"T buy these bags 🚫 Anti-haul 🚫

During the Pandemic, at 2:00 am, I actually negotiated for a vintage Birkin 40. The bag was over 50 yrs old. I was knocked off my feet when the bag arrived. The dust bag was included. Anyway....I will not be purchasing another handbag anytime soon😂😂 It is very HEAVY EMPTY...😂😂😂

I honestly think that you made the right decision deciding against the Hermes Lindy. For me, a scratch on the back can be lived with for a good price or a rare item. A scratch on the front is an issue. Thank you for the video!!

Hi Caleb! The thing to remember about Hermes in particular is that the same bag in a different leather will look quite different and also weigh more/less. I have the Trim in different leathers and the same size bag looks way smaller in Ever color than it does in Clemence and it weighs less as well. I’d go try on a few Lindys before deciding! 😊

Caleb. You are not the only one. I am still trying to find the perfect summer bag. I was going to do the LL Bean. Then decided na I don’t want it.

The more we have, the harder it is to find a new niche. I find many bags I gravitate to these days will compete with similar styles of bags I already own.

Hi Caleb! I really wanted the Coach Python Idol until I saw it in the boutique. Every single scale on the curve of the flap was lifting. Everyone told me this was normal and the scales wouldn't shed. I could just see it snagging fabrics and sweaters.

Caleb, I almost bought that Ricky 33 on TRR too! Gorgeous-- and such a good price. I talked myself out of it because my lifestyle is just not 'clean' enough to carry a cream canvas bag without being precious and paranoid... but, oh, I had horrible (non)buyer's remorse for about a week afterwards. The Ricky 33 is such a great bag. It's definitely one of my favorites to wear.

You’re not alone! I have been feeling the same for quite some time now. I don’t think it’s the infamous purse peace, because I’m still looking, waiting for a short time and then failing to pull the trigger. I want a Ricky bag but haven’t found the right one yet. I thought I wanted the tabby cargo, until I saw the 26 rogue. Fell out of love with that once I saw your video and a few others. Realized it’s not the right bag for me. I’ve also fallen for the demellier medium tote, I think it’s called the New Yorker. There isn’t any high ticket bag I’m even considering, so in other words the bags that have caught my attention have all been doable, I’m just not doing it😊. I am at a loss to explain why, even to myself. So no, Caleb, you’re not alone ❤️

I’ve decided to wait til next year, I’ve bought a lot this year and I want to save for a preloved Picotin, a Calvi duo new, this is my wishlist for next year. I feel I’m pretty much done collecting Y2K LV after the Hands Neverful, going to focus on Hermes next, I want shoes, jewelry, slg’s, etc. 🥰

I bought so many bags this year. 😆 And I have so many more to get. Hahaha! Oh, by the way, the python is actually a lot of work to take care of. You have to condition it every few months, or else the scales curl and flake off. 😅
