Thanks to Ubisoft for sponsoring this video and giving me a first look at their game!

It's been 12 years since I last played an Assassin's Creed game, so when Ubisoft offered me a chance to play their latest entry, I thought it was as good a time as any to jump back in.

If you're like me, hopefully this video helps you decide whether or not you should jump back in too.

Fun fact. There are fire bombs in fallout new vegas. Just saying
  • @maxschwitzer9390
Its a shame thst you havent tried revelations, it has a completely modular bomb system thats really fun to mess with.
  • @vyper3436
I'm glad that you'll be honest about games issues even when you're being payed by them, it's refreshing knowing I can count on your review to he genuine and not swayed by money
  • @bunnarchist8965
All the people that were like "they're going back to their roots" with this game, it really just looks like assassin's creed origins but a little bit slimmed down
  • The Good: It doesn't infect you with polio. The Bad: It's an Assassins Creed game past Brotherhood.
  • @TitoSilvey
I really appreciate the frankness studios have given you in discussing their games pre-release! Makes me far more interested even if it's something I wouldn't normally be
  • @sif3398
Am i the only one that thinks it's crazy that we still dont have more none Parcour movement abilities like freaking laying down

Just wanted to say I love your content, and thanks for getting me back into gaming. Haven't picked up a controller in months amd watching your videos really got me back in the mood for some Darksouls and even a few Eldenring challenge runs of my own. I even started playing the Salt franchise again after giving up on them, beat my first boss yesterday and that good old Darksouls accomplished feeling hit and it was great.

Adding a comment to boost the algorithm, but also... Thanks for being a genuine reviewer, you state all you can without outside bias, as in you, as we all, have bias, but aren't being swayed, seemingly, to change or 'optimise' your opinion for a company. Tldr, thanks for being Frank, though I did think your Lemon a second ago.
  • I recently only knew this game even EXISTED cause when I commute from school to home I go by a mall and stop by the game store there occasionally. Then I saw a damn huge cardboard cutout of the MC and the preorder bundles.
  • @Add_Infinitum
I don't think they'll ever beat black flag for me, but this reminds me of Revelations and I still played a ton of that. I really like that notoriety feature, that's a good way of handling it

Love your videos, positivity, ethics, and chill vibes Lemon! Big fan! However, Ubisoft is just as abusive toward its staff and customers as Activision-Blizzard. They ignored their controversy without taking any corrective action until the public got bored. Other content creators and outlets should stop promoting their games as well. No ill will at all toward you Lemon, please keep up the amazing content anyway!
  • @roundishwhale
Love the cautiously optimistic vibe of the review^^

The parry looks pretty neat, it might even be cool to have the ability to turn off the light just so it's more immersive and force you to watch their movement closely. It also kinda reminds me of Assassin's Creed 1's combat tutorial video, which is a lot deeper than I thought, and explain why my experience with it is not as smooth as combat in Ezio trilogy. It also explains why there's a "click buttons when cutscenes blink".

A good look and commentary on what very much looks like yet another AC game. I haven't been interested in AC since the 3rd one or so and there's just about nothing that'll change that. But I'm here, liking and commenting, because supporting Lemon's sponsored content takes care of Lemon. And when Lemon is taken care of, we get more stupid challenge videos. So. Armor of Thorns run when?
  • @mirailemon9905
Was rewatching an old vid earlier then suddenly I was blessed with an upload
  • @tenwholebees
Thank you for this video. After the first five minutes, watching the gameplay tells me everything I needed to know. I heard something about them going back to their roots, but it's clear that meant "a story about an assassin," instead of the overall gameplay and UX. I stopped caring after Unity, and if it's gonna stay this way, I won't start up again.
  • @GitGud_Plz
Game definitely brought back quite a bit of combat mechanics/tactics, weapon material upgrades and such from AC Valhalla. I was hoping youd be able to have access to the different stats you upgrade like your light attack damage/heavy attack damage because in Valhalla there was an extent to where the added damage didnt even make a difference. Basically soft caps/hard caps on weapon damage.
  • @Tactical_Turtwig
I can see why focused assassinations felt like cheating. Red Dead Redemption's focus mode makes sense for someone concentrating their aim, but AC Mirage has you flash/ teleporting so it feels like magic not skill or expertise.
  • @ProblmSolvd
Wooo! Backlogs getting that bread! I, personally, have gone off AC, but I am all for one of my favourite content creators getting paid to show it off.
