This was about as IMC as it could get with a snowstorm directly over our airport to get home. The Piaggio Avanti P180 is an incredible aircraft.
In aviation, instrument meteorological conditions (IMC) is a flight category that describes weather conditions that require pilots to fly primarily by reference to instruments, and therefore under instrument flight rules (IFR), rather than by outside visual references under visual flight rules (VFR). Typically, this means flying in cloudy or bad weather.

They did a much better job than Beechcraft and the Starship with this type of cinfiguratian. Excelent job.
  • Ditto my remarks on this video as with the previous. Thanks for the close up of this great bird

very nice video.. but dump the background music. The only music needed is those twin Prats

Wondering what the sound just before touching down is? Stall warning? Sounds good.

Thanks for the ride, one of my favorites and single pilot to BoOt ! Did the company ever find a way out of its 💰 problems? It would be a shame imo to see them go away, Gotta 💕 the Italians.😉

Great Video and in case nobody already mentioned: Does not need music. 😁 What is that alarm sound starting 9:26

And for some great scenes of an Avanti landing in movies, watch the movie "Wind" - 1992
  • That was a flight heading for maintenance, post maintenance flight or going for service only to wait for spares. The owner is willing to spend money as all the Collins gear has been updated with Garmin goodies. The aircraft has a lot of pluses but getting spares and maintenance intervals doomed the program. On paper, the platform is a winner. Light jet speeds with a turboprop fuel burn. Some of the issues were addressed in the Avanti II but in the end, it’s Too Expensive to own/operate.
