PIMP Synchrons vs. Ishizu Tear: Maxx C Punish w/o Mare Mare

I will say this about PIMP Synchrons: it at least gives you a fighting chance against Maxx C provided you're a bit lucky and play your cards right. And even if things don't go perfectly you still aren't doomed.

Here we see me lose one of the essential combo pieces of the punish: Mare Mare. A token-generating machine, Mare Mare is an incredible extender that forces a ludicrous amount of draws on the opponent and can easily be summoned from the deck with Yazi.

Problem is, you know, what do you do without it?

This video is for you then. Do note that technically the Tear player would've had three more cards in their deck provided Havnis didn't mill, but I still had two extra special summons to work with (Magicians' Souls and resurrecting Chaos Ruler) and I would've been able to fully fill up their board with rose tokens.
