NEW Tactical Droid in Clone Wars Micro Series | Canon Edit.

As a Holiday treat, I thought I'd preview a small clip of one of the first changes we made to the Micro Series. Those who worked on this scene shall be credited tomorrow, but for now, I don't want to spoil the upcoming video! I hope you all enjoy your Christmas or Hannukah and stay safe!

All changes: He changed the B1 Battle Droid with binoculars into a Tactical Droid with the Separatist General's clothes as it's color scheme and also provided the voice with a modulator that is close to the Tactical Droids you see in TCW 2008. Other things were in the background, he changed the B1 Battle Droids from their Geonosian color to their normal tan color and he changed the B2 Super Battle Droids from the Geonosian color to their proper blueish grey color with red dots as well.

I always LOVE this scene, it's so funny, the Sep commander is so egotistic that when the droid says it spots Jedi, he first guesses 1000, and just keeps going down till he's shocked it's only 2 and does a funny eye twitch. Dude was WAY too confident, if they deployed 1000 Jedi it would have easily been one of the most epic battles of the war.

0:35 The Tactical Droid looks annoyed when General Oro Dassyne took its electrobinoculars, whereas the original B1 Battle Droid looked sad. (The line in its painted eyes made it looked like that)

Merry SITHmas guys! So I hope you enjoyed one of the first changes I made to the original show, replacing a B1 Battledroid with a Tactical droid as well as colour correcting the background droids! The Tactical Droid was hand-drawn by our Art Departments first member, Skarchomp! The Background Superbattledroids were colour corrected by Sean C Animation! The Background B1 Droids as well as the Super' chest lights were added/corrected by Crimson Maul!

Just a head's up: the red dots on the super battle droids disappear for a second when he snatches the macrobinoculars away.

This is basically the special edition for Genndy’s CW but just for the cohesion of canon, no dinosaurs obscuring the camera or big “noooo!”s

While I'm not sure the Microseries truly NEEDS a canon edit -- it's so good on its own and it all mostly fits anyway (i.e. there are still B1 officer droids that could fill this role plus it could occur shortly before the implementation of tactical droids), this is kinda cool if only for the additional color contrast to the shot with the tan B1s and blue B2s.
