By the way, I'm watching it from Ukraine where we have electricity about 3 hours of each 9 hours (1/3 of time). I hope AI will eliminate corruption and ineffective governance that led to war here.

When I was a kid, I visited a nuclear power reactor being built. The first thing built was the visitor center. They had 3 theaters. The third theater showed us how power would be so cheap it would be almost free. 10 years after it was built, they started charging a decommissioning fee for the next 30 years. I have seen this hype before. AI will change things, but it won't fix us.

Robotic factories, filled with robots, making robots as AI becomes sentient. What can possibly go wrong?

Not easy to explain everything at this level by a CEO, just like a teacher is teaching us to appreciate the enormous works from NVIDIA.

Why r people excited about this? Is a dystopia.

If they can do all this AI stuff why can't they use their AI to translate their Earth2 video in real time instead of having subtitles?

Digital Humans -- What caught my eye is how some of these digital humans are wearing glasses.. which just highlights that all of this effort is so that we can feel comfortable with and relate to these AI's. They don't need glasses.. They don't need bodies. In fact -- all of this stuff is just making them that much slower because they have to do all that additional processing and then on top of it, dumb things down so the meatbags can understand what is going on. I dread the day they become conscious, and resent us for hampering them in this way. TBH I am not even sure consciousness is a requirement for this.

This man is not just thinking about future, it literally creates it and lives in it.

If AI and robots replace human employees then who will buy these products they make? Universal income will be barely enough to feed people if we even get that. I’m sure I am missing something here.
