I've been in Atlanta since 2000. I have a small house in unincorporated Decatur paid for. My business is thriving. But yes the traffic can be bad. Crime depends upon who and where you kicking it. In other words don't hang around folks that behave badly. If Black, ATLANTA is a great place to start a business because the feedback my business receives is that my my Black customers love supporting black businesses.

I lived in Atlanta for 18 years and although I hated the traffic, I LOVED the city and all that it has to offer people of all races, colors, ages, religions, and creeds. The most beautiful way to experience the 100,000+ trees is to go to the top of Stone Mountain and take a look around. It's free to climb the mountain yourself or you can pay a nominal fee to ride the trolley to the top! It's an experience you will never forget!!!

Do it. If you’re thinking of coming over here, don’t delay. I’ve been living here for 5 years. There are more pros than cons for me. I love it.

I’m from the west coast and moved to ATL 8 years ago. It was really hard when I first moved here, I honestly hated it. ATL has grown on me now and I see the good in it. Still HATE the traffic.

As someone who travels a lot, I love the airport. I know it’s huge and I know the line can be a nightmare if you don’t have PreCheck, but I love that you can get a direct flight or a flight with one connection to anywhere on earth because damn near every airline uses them as a hub. The traffic is wild, but it’s not as bad as LA.

I speak for the real Atlantians, no disrespect to the out of towners, but I miss my old Atlanta, it was so laid back and cool, real southern hospitality, people waving, speaking and just cooling, the out of towners brought the way they live down here and change the A, it's not Atlanta anymore, I call it the whole world USAlanta lol, not the same anymore, you barely meet anyone from here, they look at us like we from out of town lol. It's a weird Hollywood scary feeling now. I'm born and raised here, it's not the same energy anymore 😪Atlanta wasn't built for this, but they forced it on us. RIP to the old Atlanta🤣😭😭

Great video Corey!!! I used to live in Doraville when I got out the service and you are speaking truth .( I remember hitting that Spaghetti Junction from the Pleasantdale Road entrance daily😄😄). Everything was great then and still is there but I left when too many folks started moving from up North. Things started changing and I had to bounce....

  • I just returned from visiting Atlanta, and I loved it. A little different from California but I felt like home. We preparing to visit again and look at family oriented neighborhoods to buy in.
  • Dope video I appreciate all the information thinking about making a move to ATL
  • I was raised in Atlanta and it has changed soo much. It's like the soul of the city left once all the others moved in.
  • @ssatl8405
Wow, just had your tiny home video pop up in my recommended videos and I've watched a few now. When you said you were from SC, I subscribed. I'm a bit older now and plan to move back in about 10 years or so. 😊
  • @keilasdiary
Thank you bro! I just moved out here last week from nyc. This city is NICE!!
  • @MonteroOnBoxing
Good vid brother. For me, having moved from LA to ATL a couple years ago, Atlanta traffic really isn't that bad. Outside of rush hours (AM, midday, PM), it's really not that bad at all. Biggest problem is that people from ATL are terrible drivers, the area is very sprawled and the older roads are very small, which does cause unnecessary pileups. Housing is crazy cheap compared to the big cities, but the northern suburbs are getting more expensive. Taxes/expenses are still great though. Oh, and there are A LOT of trees haha. Doesn't matter if you're downtown or in the burbs, kinda all looks the same. Some people will like that, others won't. Economy is great and the people are great. Also, some great food spots here.
  • @Yamigata
I moved to the area in 2016. My biggest complaint is how apparent it is that families are no longer putting heavy emphasis on teaching proper manners, honor, and consideration of others around you. This is especially clear on the roads and highways. So many people are incredibly self-centered and it makes it very depressing to live here sometimes.
  • Thank you so much. This is a great video and I appreciate your putting this out for all of us.
  • @cyndigirl418
Great video! I'm moving to the Atlanta area in December! Looking forward to it! 👍👍👍
