Are you ready to enter the lightning-fast world of the Flash? In this video, I'm breaking down my vision for the perfect Flash game, a project that was the most challenging yet!

Watch as we delve into:
The Story: Join forensic scientist Barry Allen as he awakens to superhuman abilities and works to clear his name amidst a city overrun by metahumans. Will the man who becomes the Flash bring peace back to Central City?

Gameplay: Experience single-player, open-world action with RPG elements in Unreal Engine 5. Will you master the quick-time events, precision strikes, and vast skillset needed to truly embody the Flash?

The Villains: Can you overcome the challenges posed by the Rogues, each with unique superpowers that test the limits of your speed and quick-thinking?

Outfits: Customize your look with iconic suits that not only change your appearance but grant you specific perks.

The Perfect Studio: Who would be the best fit to develop this game? We're looking at you, Avalanche Software, Monolith Productions, WB Games Montreal, and Rocksteady!

This is part 3 of my perfect game concept series. In my first video I did a modern version of X-Men Destiny by combining it with GTA and Hogwarts Legacy. In my 2nd video I made an unreal engine 5 open world adventure for Superman. Working on The Flash was my favorite so far. Check out the previous below:

  • Hey man really cool idea for the game and the boss battles are actually genius but it you've completely forgotten about the proving the innocence part of the game. Maybe after you defeat each boss you unlock a specific side mission where you find bits of evidence (using barrys forensic skills) to prove Barrys innocence and by the end of the game you have fully justified evidence of his innocence.

When the player wants to fails or wants to redo a mission instead of a boring loading screen you can have flash say something like “I’ve failed” or “let’s try that again” then he runs back in time to last checkpoint
  • Really cool concept idea. I’m definitely open to a video game adaptation of The Flash
  • the whole 'planet sized open world' thing raises a LOT of questions, but i like how you put so much thought into how each villain would challenge the Flash's abilities
  • I really like this concept I hope it happens along with a Superman game

I think that zooms twist should be that he was jay(who you thought was a trusted mentor), similar to the cw show where zoom was just grooming your power the whole game just so he can steal it and become faster himself. Also similar to that animated scene of the flash, the trickster in the beginning of the game he seems just as insane as the joker. Throughout the game you work with him to where he redeems himself in the end making it a very emotional story.
  • It would be cool to be able to play as different speedsters as a mechanic or as DLC
  • @Profeshinal
I think the biggest challenge would be saving civilians and also trying to fight the villain. Imagine a scenario where you have to choose whether or not to save people or get in some hits on the villain. Your choice could also have an effect on the story too. If you choose to save people the villain could have time to heal or maybe get away. If you choose to attack the villain, people could die and your reputation with the city will go down. I'm not sure exactly how reputation would work but it'd be cool to explore.
  • I've had idess as well, and what if instead of being a origin story, it follows an experienced Barry after being shot by some negative tachyon stuff developed by that evil scientist, and it works like that quantum break game where he has to use his speed in bursts. There would be a skill tree you get from saving people where you can get stuff like throw lightning and and wall run

A nice story/gameplay element to add would be at the end of every boss fight, the Rogues simply vanish. Leaving Barry more confused as he tries to clear his name. But, when you get to the Professor Zoom boss fight, have it be in stages. You managed to beat his first stage? Now Captain Cold is there too. Beat that one? Boom. Here's the Trickster. So that you have to recall the ways to beat them, in the final battle, you have the added challenge of Professor Zoom. Essentially have it where Zoom is traveling to the past, grabbing these enemies that almost killed you, and bringing them to the present to help destroy you.

A scenario like one minute war could viable for a game. It'd pretty hard to control his true speed while running around a map normally. Pretty much any map, he'd have to be able to cross it in a second. Slowing down a whole city could make it seem like you're moving faster, when it is just everyone else that's really slow. Slow motion debris from battles could get pretty intense.
  • you should be able to enter flashtime when you've unlocked enough upgrades, but you can only use it for 15 seconds and it has a 1 minute cooldown, when you get better at the game, the cool down decreases and the duration increases, however you cannot use flash time when battling other speedsters

Hey, I don't really know if your goal was also to get into the technical elements of the game, but I think the biggest reason why this game doesn't exist is because of the speed aspect. How would you get a player to comfortably control a character that moves so fast that you barely see him? Are you just gonna not make Barry that fast, or are you gonna slow down the environment around him? I think this is a really tough design challenge, and I would really love to see your take.
  • @nervshmrv1245
It should also be where you have to fight the rogues one at a time with different objects and different locations to use as an advantage, and then at the end before the final boss fight, there will be a huge boss fight where you have to fight all the rogues at once, and then at the end you have to right reverse flash.
  • @yungvernio
get this man in the studio‼️‼️‼️
  • @comicfan1324
This sounds pretty cool, although I think the simplest solution to making a flash game would be to take a notes from the most iconic video game speedster: Sonic The Hedgehog. I think taking notes from some thing like sonic frontiers but making the game even faster and with a free flow combat system could work. There would be elements of urban parkour and platforming to test your skills and upgrade your character, but the game and also focus on high-speed gameplay and combat.
  • This is awesome man the day I live to see them make a flash game is a great time alive indeed
  • @andrewcabral963
They should also allow customization in the game like change the look of the Flash's suit like you change his mask to be a full helmet with a yellow visor and have his suit have a lightweight armor look to it.
  • this is a good concept. i think the flashtime would be a cool mechanic to the game where you in slow mo run up buildings.
