It is just mind boggling how Alfred made such an incredible and hilarious bit with the "Eggman's Announcement" IN ONE TAKE. Like, sure, he did have some preparation with the Hero story, but to make something that is now immortalized as a mainstay of meme culture in a single take... that gets mad props from me.

It's fascinating to see how much not just their comedy has grown across all these dubs, but also their ability to improvise a story. The first one (while still hilarious) is sort of an amalgamation of various unconnected scenes that are all ultimately just: Sonic and co. cursing and smoking weed. But it seems like after the Eggman Pissing on the moon bit the team started to try and make each dub a cohesive connected story.
