Top 10 New Disney Rides & Attractions Coming in 2024 - Walt Disney World & Disneyland

UPDATE!! So apparently Disney loves to announce things as close to the end of the year as possible so....Voyage of the Little Mermaid at Hollywood Studios has been announced to be closed for good. Then in the Fall of 2024, a brand new show will debut at a newly refreshed Animation Courtyard Theatre inspired by the 1989 animated film called "The Little Mermaid- A Musical Adventure." The show is gonna be completely redesigned including the addition of Kiss The Girl plus many more favorites from the film. Then beginning on January 8th, Rock N Roller Coaster will be closed for an extended refurbishment and it's not expected to reopen until summer 2024. It doesn't sound like it's going to be re-themed and instead are going to be addressing issues with the ride system (it has been still breaking down quite a bit this year since the refurbishment last year). At Disneyland, Mickey's Mix Magic Will return from Jan 8-March 21st & April 15-25 while Wonderous Journeys plays a very limited run from March 22- April 14.

I'm hoping that Luca characters will somehow be added into the Pixar parade at some point. It doesn't have to be a person in a costume. They could just use animatronics of the sea monster boys jumping in and out of the water making it look like they're going from sea monster to human similar to how Dante goes from normal dog form to spirit form on the Coco float in Magic Happens parade

Disney needs more Muppets in their theme parks

I still think for the finale song of the Country Bear Musical Jamboree, all the bears should sing "Zip A Dee Doo Dah." I know Disney would never do that, but if they did, i would be in the audience crying happy tears 😭

What if Dolly Parton voiced one of the Country Bears? Unlikely but that would be cool

It would be nice to see Rogers return this year. It was a pretty good show and California Adventure really needed some more live entertainment during the hot summer months. I'm also excited to hear that the Peter Pan segment will be returning to Fantasmic when the show returns in 2024.

I hope the country bear jamboree put some bear puns into the songs, like we don't talk about Bearno 😂 Super excited to visit the parks at wdw in August! Can't wait to experience it all again 💓

Always wished they redo Mickey's Phillharmagic and give it the Star Tours treatment, having different musical sequences to cycle through. I think it would really help that attraction.

I hope the Elemental characters get added to Pixar Fest

I’m so excited to see face characters for Turning Red. (Hoping the other films get face characters too.) But to meet the 4Townies and 4Town?! A dream.

I hope Raya and Sisu are shown more love next year too. I loved that film

I wish they can get back to the Wall-E animatronic and try to make sure it doesn’t break down. I want Wall-E to be represented more in the Disney Parks.

So excited for the new Star Tours scenes! I also hope the Mandalorian, Kenobi, Andor, Skeleton Crew, and the other Disney+ shows will be added!

I'm so stoked for Tiana's ride! She is my all time fav princess and I think bringing this to life for new generations is so smart.

I’d love to see a different A Bug’s Life show for Disney’s Animal Kingdom inside a different theater with live performers, live insects on display, the different bug characters from the movie, projections of footage from the movie along with new animation with different bug characters, special effects, animatronics, and costumed performers of some of the movie’s characters!
