The greatest challenge Chief faced was not getting to the portal, not obtaining the blaze rods but dealing with the construction workers. That or the fact he can't get the egg.

Tip: even though the recipe book doesnt say so, you can use a low durability or used bow in the recipe of a dispenser, if you do this there is no need to gather string and you can just use the used bow
