What Would Another Championship Ring Mean For Lebrons Goat Argument?

Published 2024-04-20
If the Lakers come out on top against the Denver Nuggets they could have a chance at an NBA title. But LeBron‘s goat status is lower than Michael Jordan for now. What the question is if LeBron James can win another title what would it mean for the goat argument? #nba #nbaplayoffs #nbagoat #michaeljordan #lebronjames #goatargument

  • It's not only the amount of rings but also the way they got them. Also individual achievements like scoring titles, defensive player titles, versatility on offense, even dunk contests, why has Bron never even competed in one... Longevity stats are nice but they don't really show dominance, they just show that he has been playing at a high level for long time, but not like Mike being different level above everyone else during the years that he played (and still winning more in less years). Also when talking about endurance Mike has played more 80-82 game seasons, never taking games off. Plus with all these longevity stats also comes one that is not great at all - LeBron is all time leader in turnovers by a large margin. The debate is over and it doesn't matter what Lebron does, MJ level of greatness is out of reach.

The MJ led Bulls didn't lose 3 straight games from 1990 to 1998. LeBrick has lost 10 times to the Nuggets alone. LeBronze isn't and will never be a contender for the GOAT. If he won 8 more rings he is still the guy that flops, shoots 37% for his career outside of 5ft, cries to the refs after every play, Has a HUGE FT discrepancy and still can't win. Is maybe the least clutch "superstar" ever, misses on average 26 games a season for his career, played in 82 games ONCE, a puts a fake crown on his head. 2 of his chips were in shortened seasons and without Allen and Irving he wouldn't have 2. He is a bad parody of the NBA.
