I do not buy that a guy that got popped for steroids in the Olympics isn’t taking them in a sport where no one cares. He absolutely is doing something, even if he isn’t juiced to the gills
  • @thegheo
real score is 6:0 John in good shape. well done

Your right, the whole community Needs to keep him motivated and active!!!! We're living in his Era, it will be over soon enough. We need to enjoy it while it's here

I really hope Voevoda keeps going. He's clearly got a ton of power still, and would be a serious top 10 contender if he builds up his hand and wrist. Those take longer to build up, and he needs more table time too.

Just the fact that you can still be elite in this sport at almost age 60 is insane. You can start this sport at age 40 and can still go very far. I believe Todd Hutchings also started very late.

Pradeep you missed something. John said that voevoda didn't had that tremendous cupping power that he once had. That's why John was pronating over voevoda hand. Voevoda needs to compete more to get the rhythm. He looked good considering he only had 1 super match in 15 years.

An athlete can’t take years off and try to make a comeback without a lot of table time. Just shows crazy weights aren’t everything.
  • @lombardy3274
John had Covid before Ongarbaev and Dennis… most of his recently losses can be attributed to health issues. I think a fresh John at 105kg is very very competitive against anyone at that weight.
  • @angieurban209
Money is all the motivation John needs to keep going. He did not make money off of armwrestling when he was in his prime peak because armwrestling was not popular enough. Keep showing John the money to motivate him to keep going. He’s earned it and deserves it! John, go get your money that was denied to you in your heyday when you were #1 in the world!

John at his point can Arm wrestle whoever the hell he wants don’t matter who. Johns resume is out of this world and I think he’s at Peak confidence at this moment because Alexy was that one guy that had that Win over him and even though John is Humble he was the mountain that seemed unsurpassable at the time and Alexy just beat him so easy and I know he wanted hes get back for awhile. Now he Avenged that Loss so the future is bright. If John gets the proper rest to heal from the matches He is going to keep terrorizing these young guys for a little bit longer.

We can see John winning all his revenge matches now except Devon and Denis.
  • @PahEz
whoever thinks that voevoda isn't blasting roids atm is simply too new to the sport, or too new to weight lifting in general. He is absolutely on gear atm there is zero doubt about that.
  • @benn3819
Engin said John can decide if he cut to 95kg and pull for the titel vs Sasho, or he cut to 100kg and pull Sasho but not for the titel then.
  • @jokelot5221
I knew John will win, not a surprise to me.
  • @stevenwalker9013
Also it just depends how serious he takes a match. You could tell alexey rematch lit a fire. He came in looking huge. He wasn’t asleep in the ready-go.
  • @SDSen
John shouldnt be cutting, he's beyond that plus given his age, it's not good and can affect his health unless the cut is minor. He's reached a level and name in the sport where he's an icon. And a senior still alive among us. He shouldn't be asked to cut weight but fight at any weight he feels comfortable in and get opponents to switch up according to Brzenks weight or who agree to pull him regardless
  • @AW.Experiment
Nobody saw John as an underdog, at least after the recent interviews with John and Alexey, except Devon's fans who tend to religiously believe and repeat anything their idol says publicly 😀
  • @jonimatto1145
Will Voevoda continue? Or is it over this time for good? But yeah he has still a lot of time to improve.
  • @jdj2022
Saying the weight and leanness nullifies the PED effect is an incorrect statement. PED’s still help with aggression, mindset, recovery during training leading up to a match, and depending on the PED possible endurance and even reaction time.
