True Crime: This is the chilling story of Karabo Mokoena and Sandile Mantsoe. Karabo was an advocate for women's rights, but in April 2017 she would find herself trapped in the very evil she had been campaigning against. Sandile Mantsoe was a forex trader, and supposedly rich, but to add to his list of damning characteristics, Sandile was actually in debt by the tens of thousands. He was coined as "The Devil in disguise" by a judge in his trial.

I make it a rule: "Never trust a man in a Gucci suit who can't afford socks." 😉😉
  • @bellford7067
my rule is - Don't date people who has to be so flashy with everything they do
  • @cindypearl
She was my friend. I'm not sure how/why YT recommended this video, but thank you for the respect and empathy!!
  • I hope this story makes people realize just how dangerous narcissists are and once you find your way out NEVER EVER go back no matter what!
  • @Stirlingggg
I was actually at the same university as Karabo and I remember how her missing poster was plastered all over campus. thank you so much for giving Karabo an international voice.

She had genuine intentions to assist women, but she was still young and had never experienced those circumstances in person.

this is exactly the perfect situation to say "everything seems easy, until its happened to you"

A wise man would never parade his wealth. That is the first sign .

One look at the guy, the way he wears his clothes, his mannerism, and the kind of car he drives. You know the guy is a disaster waiting to happen...

"Its unknown why it took police 2 days to do anything." Its Johannesburg.

It's so ironic how Karabo fell victim to the very thing she fought so passionately for with other women. Just goes to show how hard it is to move away from abusive relationships sometimes. It can become all consuming, even for the strongest of people.

It is really refreshing to see a case about an abused woman where the narrator doesn't victim blame, and you treated Karabo with the respect she deserved in life. Thank you for sharing her story and focusing on her passion for helping women!
  • Narcissists are one of the most dangerous kinds of people. So ironic that a woman who probably helped so many others find the strength to leave abusive relationships found herself with an abusive narcissist. Ive had my own experience with one and they can be very charming, but underneath is a shell of a man with little empathy. My heart goes out to her. May she rest in peace... Great job telling her story Adrian.

9 Traits of a Narcissist: Lack of Empathy Manipulative Projection Emotionally Cold Gaslighting Never Takes Responsibility Controlling Grandiose Ego Infidelity
  • So many red flags. I personally do not trust people who post and brag about their riches. It screams insecurity. I've always said that Insecure men are very dangerous. Oh, how I wish she had stayed away from him. Never give an abuser a 2nd chance, I don't care what type of abuse it is.
  • Unhealed childhood trauma makes us susceptible to attraction to narcissists and harmful people. May she rest well and may we find healing to childhood trauma and find attraction to psychologically well adjusted people.

I'm a student living in Johannesburg and unfortunately, a lot of young girls here remain in bad relationships not only for materialistic things but to escape poverty. Men take advantage of that here. May her soul rest in peace. Please do a video on Uyinene Mrwetyana. Her story highlighted violence against women in South Aftica. She went to the post office to fetch a package and the employee there took her life.

If abusive relationships were that easy to get out of then women/men would just walk out of them. Advice is easier to give than to follow

A devil in disguise.. no other phrase can best describe this heartless man.
  • This is the very 1st time I just heard this narrated with so much respect and compassion.....Let alone hearing the details of what actually transpired on the in question....Thanks so much for showing so much respect to Karabo and her Family and every Woman out there....👊🙌still so saddens reading about it, as if it happened just yesterday 🙏💔😭
