The NFL will never quite feel the same without these two absolute legends going head to head late in the season or postseason. 😢
-
Best QB rivalry in my lifetime, every game was a major event.
-
Two of the greatest quarterbacks ever to play the game, now they're playing golf and reminiscing about football will there ever be two quarterbacks like these in our history of football?
-
It is amazing how these two could remember the details of the other team scoring Peyton saying Moss and Brady saying Wayne. I could listen to them talk for hours.
-
Greatest rivalry. Too bad not in Super Bowl but those were the real super bowls 😊

Two of the Greatest Quarterbacks to ever touch the grid iron.

If you weren't there for it you will never truely understand how massive this rivalry was. It was an event. March you had free agency. April, you had the draft, August you had the Hall of Fame induction, September, you had kickoff of the regular season, November, you had the Brady Manning game, February, you had the superbowl. That's what it felt like, an annual event that the eyes of the football world where watching.

I don’t know if there can ever be a rivalry this good

The GOAT and The Sheriff: the greatest rivalry in NFL Football

It was truly the greatest era of football with these two I'm glad I was able to have witnessed it

The kid in me needed this. I grew up watching the best two QBs to ever play. The smartest (Manning) and the best competitor & leader (Brady).

Brady vs. Peyton - the annual mid-season AFC championship game

One of the greatest rivalry’s

The two greatest QB’s in the history of the sport, bar none. As a 22 year old, I’ve always been a Brady guy but man, Peyton was incredible in his own right. These two truly made me fall in love with the game.

2 of the best to ever play the game.

Whether it was Colts-Pats or Broncos-Pats, Brady vs Manning was always an NFL holiday. You worked whatever you were doing around being able to watch them face off. I rooted for Peyton, but had nothing but respect for Tom. Brady was my dad's guy, being a Michigan man, but he loved Peyton too. In my dad's final years, this was probably the one thing we always shared. And then in the playoffs, we'd root for whichever guy was left. I miss seeing these guys play. But most of all, I miss seeing these guys play...while watching with my dad.

It so reminds me of Bird and Magic. Two competitors bringing out the best in one another

There's nothing cuter than seeing these two boys re-hash their careers. #goats

Thank you for being men of great character and excellent athletes. It has been an honor to have been able to watch you both in the NFL and College. 🙏😎✌️🇺🇸

It’s fun to see their friendship these days after how fierce of competitors they were for so many years. It’s always wild to ponder how many championships could Peyton have possibly won if he didn’t play in the same era as Tom and vice versa. Kinda crazy that the five years they faced off in the playoffs the winner went to the superbowl each time. 4/5 of those years the winner won the superbowl. Just fun to think about.
