Ty so much.. I have both the 46 and 22 needle Addis.. I have not made much of anything due to split stitches dropped stitches and, the only hat I made was so small no one in the house could wear it.. Discouraged yes extremely.. I managed to get my 22 needle to use a pound of Love. Going very slow as the stitches will split on the first and second rows..fix them and then not a single problem after that.. I managed to make 7 sitting angels from Hoop and Home you tube..So now I finally have presents to give. Yay!!!!!

I lucked out with having impeccable on hand. People mention simply soft all the time and it works smoothly but is too thin for hats imo even doubled.

Sugar and cream is cotton yarn. Doesn't have a lot of stretch. If the yarn doesn't stretch, it doesn't want to run through the machine.

What ice yarn works well with the Addi machine?

Anything from hobby lobby is a big no for me. I refuse to buy anything from hobby lobby due to their working conditions and politics. So it looks like its impeccable for me.
