Fitz made a good arguement. I acknowledged the comments addressing the line Mellow made. It was bad-ass, but it didn't do it for me. Mellie isn't anybody to talk. Neither of them are. However, Fitz doesn't try to put the blame all on her, just listen to the line at 2:00 because the wording was on point. "This mess that we made." Parents want to work together when lecturing their kids about school work and such, but when their personal problems come in they mess up and think differently. Mellie needs to stop pushing the blame on her husband who's the president, trying to make money and time for his family. He can't just stop his life.
