Beautiful. As a Kanaka Maoli. I'm priced out of my Aina. Especially that's where I was raised 💯

    looks like a "70s" fixer-upper.....hardly worth $16 million!

Thank you for sharing another beautiful home there in Hawaii. Whether on Oahu or on Maui the large homes with ocean views and walkways to the beaches are so beautiful!😊

It would be nice if you had a went through each room explaining what it is. Instead, you have music playing throughout the showing of the house, which is not good people should know what they are looking at documenting each room would’ve been nice.

Why didn't you show the beach? That's the most important part of the tour!

One reason why Hawaii is bought out
  • @KHallesy
Its a beautiful house but I would much rather see it donated back to the local people to enjoy. Hawaiians are being priced out of their homes and if the government of Hawaii can buy this and make it a free resort for the natives to enjoy it seems like that would be the best use of the land. And the prestige knowing that a President who grew up on the island used that house for his vacations would make it even more special.
  • Great ocean views, butvthe house looks like crap. Does not show well. I was expecting more

You should watch Mike Drutar a realtor on the big island. He knows how to make real estate videos.
  • Where did he get that kind of money on a presidential salary???? Why selling it?? Where is he escaping to now????

If they want to sell this, they should repair the roof, it is in bad shape. Curb appeal is important in real estate.

More on the traditional side and the furniture looks uncomfortable, though it could be staged. I like the art and floor plan, interiors are too dark (cabinets, floors, counters, furniture). A lighter interior palette would open up space and modernize the space, I would have changed the cabinets and countertops. Nice grounds, the dining room facing the beautiful outdoor space is the draw.
