Fun fact: I was in Thailand a few years back during my Gap year doing some environmental volunteer work, and on one of the last days I was snorkeling doing a marine biodiversity survey, and I turned around to sea a mf sea snake swimming from the reef right up to me and I nearly died of paralysis before it could actually paralyze me. One of the scariest moments of my goddamn life. Turns out they're nonaggressive towards humans, even more so during the day, but I wasn't taking no chances lol

What TierZoo doesn't mention about the boomslang is that boomslang venom is slow acting on humans and larger bodied animals, but not its target prey species. So you can't describe boomslang as slow-acting in a broader sense. It also has the most potent venom of any snake in africa, more potent than the cape cobra (most venomous cobra in africa) and the mambas (all 4 species). PUT RESPECT ON THE BOOMSLANG'S NAME.

If you really want a snake get a corn snake or a ratsnake. They’re small, cute, don’t eat much, basically beginner snakes that I think could help Danielle with her fear or hate of snakes
