Glad I plugged in today because you triggered something in my life I want to share. 26 years ago 3 people conspired to kill my son and his girlfriend, and believe it or not I'm still going through trials with one of them. For many years anger was my strength until it dawned on me that I had given these people the power to hurt me. Deciding I had to look at this differently if I was to survive I made the hardest decision of my life, I forgave them. This does not mean that i will ever forget what they did and should still be punished,but means I have not walked in their shoes, don't know their life journey and what produced these actions. while I no longer hate them, just their actions. it frees me to see us all in a different light. We are all a piece of the whole and as such we cannot understand even begin to feel, see or connect to the positive until we have experienced the negative. Hope I have made sense here.
