Had a heart transplant one year ago. Every day I think about the man who I’ve never met before that saved my life.

Organ donors are the ones who are heros even in death. This family will clearly miss him, but I hope they find comfort knowing he’ll be saving someone else’s life. Rest In Peace, you will be remembered.
  • As a liver transplant recipient. I absolutely was humbled by the gift I received that saved my life. I was weeks from dying. I had accepted my mortality and then I got a liver through an unselfish act. In my life I had never experienced this kind of love. It changes you. Forever! You are never the same! Donors are heroes!
  • "Hey let's go, Taylor is about to go off and save some lives". Thats when I got the lump in my throat and ugly cried.
  • “Taylor’s about to save some lives!!” That gave me chills

"let's go, he's about to save some lives" thinking about saving someone else during this horrible time is absolutely selfless. You can tell that man was amazing. Because of the family he had!
  • As a two time liver recipient, THANK YOU to all organ donors!! You are truly hero's and I will be forever grateful!! May God Bless you all!

My brother died yesterday, about two months shy of his 36th birthday. His honor walk was simultaneously one of the most painful and beautiful things I've experienced, with well over a hundred people lining the halls to pay their respects. He'd been in and out of the hospital many times the past few months, so they knew him well. It sucks for everyone to have to say goodbye, but he'll be saving lives, and not for the first time. So long, Pat. See you in a couple decades.

The first time I seen an honour walk, I hurt so bad for that family. It is truly an “honour walk” after knowing what organ donation means to other families... It is bittersweet.
  • @Cerrielle
An honor walk is the most incredibly emotional thing I have ever experienced. May they be blessed.

My brother received a double lung transplant in January 2022. I am so grateful to the man and his family that made the decision to be an organ donor. I can never thank them enough.
  • My brother died nearly 6 years ago, his organs helped save 5 peoples lives. I miss him beyond measure. But I know he lives on somewhere out there, I hope his wit and humor live on too. x

My grandmother suffered a brain aneurysm and she was declared brain dead, she was an organ donor. Because of her a man can now spend more time with his four children, a person can see someone has a new heart, a mother now has better kidneys. Every time I feel like her death was for nothing I remember that !

What a beautiful but sad gift. 😔 I feel so sad watching this for his family and mother. I couldn't imagine my boy gone. I couldn't live anymore. I'm actually crying watching this poor baby about to give his organs to others because of his passing to a better place. What a Man he is and I'm proud to have found this and watched it. Rest in peace little man, you are a Hero. God Bless!
  • I’ve heard the story on Taylor and omg! He saved so many lives! He died at such a young age. Rest In Peace Taylor. Your family is in my prayers!❤️
