WOLVES:
THANK YOU to Paula and Steve from Apex Protection Project for being such dedicated wolf savers. It is people like them who dedicate their lives to the service of others whether it be people or animals that help make our planet a better place.

They need help! With both donations or volunteering in person. You can find all the info you’ll need for that here:
www.apexprotectionproject.org/

These wolves were all abandoned by their owners as people continue to adopt them thinking having a wolf will be fun to have but it is an extremely time consuming and difficult task to raise one. Please do not contribute to this problem and instead go volunteer at a sanctuary and help them get protected in the wild.

To take action on a larger level, please take 5-10min to go to this website www.relistwolves.org/ it will give you all the info on who your legislator is, how to contact them, pre-written emails and everything you can do to help wolves, made as easy as possible for you.

This isn’t just about wolves however, it’s about all species on the planet and protecting our ecosystem. Let’s all do our parts to show we care.

🙏🏼 Thank you for making these videos possible through your support of Seek Discomfort

Mad respect to the cat living with wolves.
  • I remember when I was 14 I use to walk past this cafe that had a German Shepherd that would go absolutely mental whenever anybody walked past, it was chained up and I had never seen anyone interact with it ever, to me it looked lonely and I could sense it's frustration and torment of being neglected, so one day I walked down their driveway and stood just out of the range of the end of its chain and we just looked at each other, it took about 20 seconds of staring at each other until the dog recognised that I meant it no harm and it completely changed it's behaviour and instantly became happy, so I walked right up to it crouched down and started petting it and it went crazy with happiness licking me and wanting all the attention I could give it, so I went and spoke to the owners and they straight away said oh no stay away from him he's very vicious you can't go near him, so I was like actually he really likes me and I'd like to start walking him daily so I took them out the back and showed them how he acted with me and they were stunned that anyone could get near him, they agreed to let me walk him and I formed a very beautiful strong relationship with him I walked him for like 4 hours a day, at the start of the walk he'd be dragging me but by the end of the walk he'd be so worn out I'd have to drag him lol, I took him out bush and we climbed mountains and swam in rivers and do all kinds of cool things together, he was such a good boy his name was mango.

I remember when I was little my dad's friend owned 2 wolves and they would often leave me in the enclosure with the wolves unsupervised because the wolves would chase them out and keep them from getting near me and my brother. they would treat us like their own pups and refused to let my dad take me home until they were ready to let us go. I would fall asleep on them and when they woke me up they were so gentle. they would even push my brother away from me when he was mean to me and comforted me if I cried or got hurt. they are the reason for my love of wolves and that is why I want to work with wolves in the future. I hope to one day have enough land to open a wolf preservation to breed wolves for release into the wild. I also hope to one day have the funds to donate to places that work toward saving the wolves. I already told my husband my plan and soon we are going to visit a wolf/ wolf-dog sanctuary in Tennessee.

The way the names of Loki & Thor match their personality is so awesome Loki trying to step up but also being the bully is hilarious considering who Loki is.

When Paula was upset and the wolves started howling, it gave me goosebumps. I loved this video today. Thank you for bringing to light the dangers wolves are facing right now.
  • @Nonyah123
They all cried when their mom got upset. That's true empathy of the highest form. THAT'S what it means to be an alpha.
  • I spent my whole life loving wolves and having this sacred connection with them. I'm a Kanienkehaka (People of the flint) and am a Wakahthaionni (Member of the wolf clan) and every year it breaks my heart to see more and more of these beautiful creatures being killed off. Thanks to you, I now know that there's REAL and GOOD people who watch over these animals and where I can give my support. Thank for making this world and little lighter and showing me that something can be done to save my favorite animal.
