This turned out rad. I’m glad to see I’m not the only one talking about how great the motion features in Fresco are. This process of just improvising and will-nilly deciding what to animate as you go is so fun and a big part of why I love Fresco. Also shoutout for explaining that Fresco is free for nearly everything. I have to reiterate to people so often, lol. They just assume that if it’s adobe it has to be expensive.

Now you have to make the lo-fi chill study soundtrack to play along with the animation!

Krita is my personal favorite! Its TOTALLY free, you can add and customize your brushes and it has animation capabilities as well! <3 I'd love to see you give it a shot.

Now people are going to hire you to animate their murals 😜
  • @DefiningDave
You also give Adobe a non exclusive license to your work to train their AI on, so that they can later replace you, so that's pretty rad too.

This is so awesome! I really appreciate that you brought us along for the ride and showed us your trouble shooting.

This is so cool! I think my favorite part is the glasses, that shine going down looks awesome.
  • @PinotKitten
I love how chill and vibey this video was. That illustration was also perfect to be animated, it's like it was made for it, and the end result turned out super cool. Starting to think maybe I could even animate something like that!

I love Adobe Fresco. Glad to see another artist work with it!

with the key remember that objects have different weights and the keys movement would be delayed almost like it is a frame behind the string if you know what I mean. sick video though brother!
  • So appreciate this! I’ve been learning Fresco so I can teach my HS students. Had no idea about the reference layer option. Game changer! Thank you!

you should adjust the canvas size, pop in your logo, and upload it to Wallpaper engine. I bet a bunch of people would love it as a moving desktopbackground! (I would!)

I feel like the shine on the console should come after the shine on the glasses, in line with the rate the clouds are passing. it looks great regardless!
  • @WHYGANNT
I had the same reaction to the glasses shine! Really enjoyed learning this tool alongside you, thank you!
