Slow burn? It is like simmering us on low heat. Slowly but surely cooking us, yet we are too invested to walk away. It is worst than cooking a frog In warm water, it is like cooking us under guise that it is a free hot spring vacation.

I don't why there is such a controversy with the whole age gap thing. People do it all the time, plus they're all adults who can make their own judgments. What, are we gonna start back seating other people's lives when a lot of us are living a shitty life already? Also I can see Myne getting together with Ferdinand even though I was originally part of the Lutz ship. Aside from the whole mana difference bit, the time together, and knowledge about her other life, there is also the social status aspect. Myne has literally ascended from her status as a commoner to that of nobility, if she were to have chose Lutz, there would be a lot of trouble ahead for her and everyone she cares about with the noble faction. Plus I doubt Lutz has the mental fortitude to handle the noble life.

Library of Alexandria, definitely has nothing 2 do with any of this. Pay no mind

Yeah the Light Novels (LNs), at least as far as the Kindle releases will be done by the end of 2024 (book 29 hits January). The final (Kindle) novel MIGHT come out in 2025. The physical versions tend to come out some 06 months after the Kindle versions, so 2025 or 2026 for the end of the series as far as the physical releases go. I'll be sad to see the series end. I've heard that the author is working on a spin-off series, apparently starring Hannalore, but don't know if that's true, a rumor, or wishful thinking. I'm trying to figure out what to read once AAoB is done. Frieren is at the top of my list right now, I'm digging the anime.

The anime series drew me in and got me started on the light novels and I have been reading it since. It's definitely a slow burn and at did a lot to establish the world at the start and as it went on it has expanded that world and filled it with a number of other characters but it still has depth to it all. I can guess how things will end as they have forshadowed quite a bit of what is happening now in the translated novels. I am avoiding reading ahead in the online fan translations though as I don't want to spoil things for when the official translation is released (have done that with a few others and regret it somewhat as getting the new one loses some of its anticipation).

What I am concerned about is all of the moving parts at the end of P5Vol8. The fighting in the south of Ehrenfest sounds like it will eventually sort out, even with the former Gerlach giebe stepping in. Georgine is right on the doorstep of the temple, and it remains to be seen if the trap set will be enough to snare her. Meanwhile the Lanzenave royalty has breached the Sovereignty with Detlinde. I do wonder how long they'll keep her alive...she got them to the Holy Land but she cannot get them inside the archive. Seems like all she can do is die at this point. I do not think the royals will give up Rozemyne so easily. That bonus chapter from Volume 7 hints that Sigiswald was utterly stunned when Rozemyne returned from her discussion with 'Gramps'. I swear if Ferdinand has to play another round of Ditter.... A lot of loose ends, too. Letizia. Hortensia (rip?). Does Hannelore end up in Ehrenfest? Who becomes Zent? Will Philine act out her threat against Damuel?

Who is the target audience for this video? It's full of spoilers for most people and not too interesting for LN readers. Anyway I appreciate any Bookworm content
  • @wuhlheide
I appreciate any form of bookworm content but as a german I musst say your pronunciation of the Gods, Gutrissheit etc was painfull. (If you didn’t know: most of the names are based on german. Though even the author spells them wrong. in japanese and English)

I beg to differ the author of this series does not steer the writing into a better directions there is huge problems with the writing for it ignores its very inappropriate themes that would destroy a society
