This was the best case scenario for Wembenyama, to leave his hometown and country and got to a completely different country, to get mentored by Popovich is the best thing that could’ve happened because a lot of questions was, could he be Nba ready or will his game transition to the Nba, well Popovich will make sure with that!

Spurs went all-in to tanking by trading Dejounte Murray and already paid off. They have a chance to get Wembanyama and change the trajectory of their franchise. I'm not a Spurs fan but I'm excited to see what will happen to them.

I can’t believe the Spurs did it!!! It seemed like too perfect of a team for Victor, with their history of international players (especially Tony Parker and Boris Diaw from France), previous success with generational big men in Tim Duncan and David Robinson (who still visit regularly and mentor the Spurs), all alongside the same coach, Greg Popovich, who has the most wins in NBA history. This is an incredible day for basketball fans! 😄
