I Ran Into One of GT7's DIRTIEST DRIVERS and it went VERY BADLY...

I've got countless examples of dirty racing. It is abundant unless you're A or A+. I'm still in B. So it's a crap shoot wether or not you get through a race. Literally have guys that will just push you off track. Get beside you and hit you repeatedly until you go off. Other times you get a good exit. So you start to pass them. As you get next to them they just hit you off. It's more than frustrating. It simply shouldn't be a thing. GT7 should absolutely create a penalty system that makes this kind of driving extremely inadvantageous. Make it to where you get penalized to a point where the only people left for dirty drivers to rave against is other dirty drivers.

Personally, I think you were too far back to make a move and so he took the racing line. Love you and your vids, but i don't think you've any complaints here.

Looking at this one objectively. He moves on the braking to cut you off, but the normal line is to move on the braking and trail brake thru the corner. Its also a pretty narrow line over the curb normally. Youre not alongside not even close to an overlap before youre both braking. Hard to tell if youd have made the apex without hitting him even if he left a car width. That being said, he goes in even more narrow than usual. Plus earlier in the race we see him push to pass, plus all the weaving on the straight. Combine all that with his history too. Verdict, not the greatest attacking move but not a great defense either. You probably wouldve gotten the overlap if he wasnt weaving so thats his fault to me.

He started turning before you. That’s a close call but I’d say you knew the risk you were taking diving that corner

It seems like other players forget about racing etiquette when under pressure. You can't sideswipe someone when they're next to or passing you.

This is not just arc, but many other aswell. Its sad to see that this type of behavior is not penalized more. Great driving, sad to see a good race destroyed by that guy.

So you think this is a dirty? You merely adopted the dirty driver. As a GTA Online player, I was born amongst the dirty drivers, molded by them. I didn't see a clean race until I was already a man, by then the etiquette was nothing to me but blinding.

Is there a ghost mode in gt7? When your car becomes invisible when other drivers comes near you in a race. The ghost mode doesn't allow you or other drivers to make contact with each other. This makes it impossible for idiots to benefit from their dirty driving.

Imagine a race where all the dirty drivers get put together...

I so wish that Polyphony could fix the BOP problem so that people can use different types of cars. It bothers me so much to see and be in races when everyone is in the same car. I also think that the one's that always use the meta car are afraid of competition. That's just my opinion.

Makes you wonder what goes through their mind as they cross the finish line after doing something like that. As you said Rory, you’d rather get the latter position than driving like that to get it.
