  • Till today Pakistan has not revealed how many of their soldiers died in the misadventure. The generally accepted theory (most probably true) is that they deployed their Northern Light Infantry and in that process the entire NLI was wiped out.
  • Four Tibetan soldiers of the Special Frontier Forces (SFF) sacrificed their lives, and six soldiers bDly wounded. No mention of their contribution until today in the Indian narratives. SFF soldiers played a pivotal role in climbing Tiger Hill and securing the strategic position in the battle.

Sir With due respect - now that India observes Vijay diwas - victory in Kargil . I do seriously feel Kargil contest was a grave lapse of Indian army intelligence. But no one wants to talk about it rather than brushing under the carpet . Would be happy to be enlightened by contributors .
  • @PatSen
That was brilliant, Shekhar! Perhaps you’ll do something similar about NathuLa and ChoLa in September? We don’t get to see much about that one. Do consider it 🙏🏽🙂

Yeh Pakistani army Generals bachpan se surrender ka soch te hai 😂
  • @anuchugh31
Let’s make ourselves better than all our enemies. Pakistani army is already destroying Pakistan. For the martyrs, we owe you everything.
  • You are a great journalist sir We are very proud of you you are gifted person to our great country India 🇮🇳 I salute you sir for your honesty and simplicity Thank you so much sir for your wonderful service 🙏
  • Our young Jawans and our equally young JCOs, our Martyrs, showed their "JOSH" and made that supreme sacrifice to throw the enemy out, lock, stock and barrel , while our General Sahiban took their own time to wake up ! Salutes to our forces !.. However, it is time that this Holy Cow status of the forces is given a go by ! That Colossal Military Slip in the Kashmir Valley in 1989-90 has not been explained by our General Sahiban which cost the country hugely and we the indigenous and original inhabitants of Kashmir, Kashmiri Hindu Pundits, lost our birth land, our cultural heritages , our civilisational moorings and our identity along with our beautiful mother tongue and the indigenous script Sharda !.. 😭😭😭
  • Very fine and true assesment you have given correct position of the issues in a political manar l admire you

Description of 1996 seems wrong . People say benazir refered the general to president leghari , leghari asked finance how much funds for imports of sanctions result , reply was perhaps 3 to six weeks . He said NO . Leghari wife was devout Muslim under influence of a lady preacher now in Canada . She did not like benazir secular govt . Leghari dismissed her after murtaza was killed allegedly by Z men . But instigator was her brother .
  • 👆 From the other side of the LC. We are the same blood. Except our soldiers converted our initial defeat into victory by their blood and for the honour of the Army these soldiers served. Misadventure of the other side was also at a cost. But has the government or senior leadership of defence forces learnt lessons.Less allocation of budget, is an indication towards that

Is it just me, or does anyone find similarities ( not in specifics bit in principle) between Pakistan's Kargil Operation and India's foreward policy vis a vis China?
  • @giridharan6091
Despite all that Mr.Sekar, the K.Subramanyam report is still a secret. Even the Henderson-Brooke report is a secret. How can the common man trust the govt?
  • @Ninjashank
You should talk about how your friend barkha in the name of reporting did what she did
  • @Sunny0660
The anchor has only two topics. Pakistan and Punjab 😅
