As a Hindu in Bangladesh, I must say we are not safe. My relatives house in village is vandalized, looted, burned down. Many other Hindu houses as well. They are scared to death. Also people who are saying that Hindus are safe, please don't set false narrative for us in the outside world to save your image. No one has the right to speak for us who isn't a minority and haven't walked in our shoes.

My mother and 85-year-old grandma had to leave their home for life. My house was vandalized, looted and burned. Now they have no spare clothes, no place to sleep and not even a plate to eat. My grandma told me while crying, I have now lost everything twice. Once in 1971 and 3 days ago. They are now dependent on my relatives, for how long I don't know. I was never part of any political party.. I am not even a hindu... Is this justice?? Is this freedom??

As a Bangladeshi hindu we were safe under her rule. She never allowed the radical Islamic groups. And also reject the U.S to give our land to them. (It's also a geopolitical threat to India)

Fact is Gandhi culturel is doing what in Bangladesh 🇧🇩 when ppl of Bangladesh hate you. You can’t have a proxy govt and have them act like they love Gandhi, people hate it and they act on their feelings. However those proxies should be brought to justice.

Rural people are not safe in Bangladesh anymore. Loots, open threats, killing, firing houses are happening across the country. You will not get the real picture from urban guy who has no idea about villages and remote area.
