Hi everyone! What grade (out of 10) would you give this video?
-
I remember critics shitting on his performance because they couldn't understand what he was saying. Absolute masterclass in missing the point...
-
This entire movie was spectacular from start to finish. Guy Ritchie was a genius with British gangster movies and if Americans would have understood it, Pitt would have won an Oscar for this performance.
-
That single tear that rolled down Tommy's cheek was such a great touch to an already epic scene!
-
I was on this set and it completely changed my opinion on Brad Pitt. He was brilliant. And he stayed in character even in between scenes. Very impressive performance - one of his best. And a great career move
-
For any non UK citizen, I don't think you guys realize how perfect this guys traveller's accent is, my mind is blown every single time I watch this movie
-
it was the way a huge hollywood star was so interactive with the others - not trying to upstage them at all. True pro
-
For me, Brad Pitt proved his acting chops in 12 Monkeys. That was a brilliant performance.
-
Without a doubt Pitt should have got an Oscar... having dealt with travellers in a professional capacity he absolutely nailed the part... from accent to mannerisms... totally nailed it..
-
Been saying it for years. Acting is becoming someone else and convincing others that you are someone else. Brad Pitt as Mickey was once of the greatest examples of an actor becoming a convincing version of someone completely different to themselves. Should have got an Oscar for Best Actor.

If you've ever been around travellers, and a lot of British people have, you'll know this was a stellar performance by Brad Pitt. That he's also an American makes the performance almost incomprehensibly good. He lived with tinkers for a few weeks to get, as well as the accent, the mannerisms, the little touches like how to react to the barking dog, the choice of words for the ad libs - this was masterful.
-
The first movies I saw Brad Pitt in were Snatch and Meet Joe Black. It’s difficult to imagine that these two roles are played by the same actor. He is truly talented. Of course in the case of Snatch it doesn’t hurt that it’s overall one of the most entertaining movies ever made. I must have watched it a dozen times.

golden brown on the knockout scene is so fucking epic

Not just Pitt. The entire cast killed. I think this was a high water mark for Guy Ritchey as well. It's a collection of amazing wit perfectly delivered. When Statham tells Pitt to try and look like a boxer, the brief expression on Mickey's face is priceless. Even the whistling dog was crazy funny.

One of Guy Ritchie's masterpieces. Brad Pitt added so much spunk to an already fantastic film. He's certainly proved his versatility over the years. BTW, this is one of my all time favourite flicks.
-
3:15 perfect improv acting when the dog kicked off! 😀
-
Wow! How many memorable movies has Brad Pitt been in? Moneyball, The Big Short, Oceans 11 (12 & 13), A River Runs Through It and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood just to name a few. He always delivers.
-
This movie proved that Brad Pitt is far more than just a pretty face. He really can act! This was a very difficult role to play, and he did it flawlessly. Kudos, Brad!
-
Brad Pitts best performance hands down. You'd think throwing an American actor in this role would ruin a British movie, but Brad really came through!

Every role was played brilliant. Whole movie and cast deserves a 10/10.
