That trick where you switch your feet parallel is an actual life saver. My outward turns are so sharp and controlled now
  • hey there - beginner here - literally just went out for my first cruise today, and i loved it! super underrated channel.
  • @swifti1001
90 degree angle positioning is fine for turning, but the problem is 22 inch boards are too small for adults. Should be riding 27 minimum

New subscriber. I don't even have a Penny board (yet) but do ride various wood boards. I just like your content and style. Helpful, friendly, smart advice.

Hi Tyler, Super tips! Could you give us more about "how to carve"????
  • @ShifuP2
Hey Tyler! What if i have to push constantly to maintain my speed, do I still need to get my front foot parallel?
  • Just got some new 70mm wheels for my penny board. The new wheels have slightly helped in keeping speed for slightly longer and rolling through debris easier, though i have just one problem. The wheels are supposed to be 78a but they feel more like 83 or 85a. I'm very curious but how soft are 78a wheels compared to 83a wheels??
  • @magnusm4
My problem is when I move my foot from front to aligned. Now suddenly I can't push to gain speed. It's like kicking with your other leg pointing at your center. It gets in the way and feels really weird.
  • @soeunlee7418
But if I want to push again then do I have to make my foot 90 degrees again? Cause I often lose balance when I try to push again from the board if it is parallel positioned.

I moved to London a while ago and I am so bored of walking to bus stops or stations. I want a board to make it fun and fast.
