  • My mom & I had the priveledge of seeing Luther at Jiffy Lube Live in VA. We were in the second row. He always talked to the audience like were old friends. You could tell he really enjoyed sharing his talent. Gay or not, I really don't even care...... I miss Luther!!!

Listening here in London - May 25, 2024. American here - retired to London - absolutely love this place!
  • Not only did Luther sing so melodiously, he was the epitome of class & finesse with a phenomenal stage presence. Luther had a wonderful sense of humor. 🕊💖🎶 As far as the orchestra was concerned, Luther should not have even had to ask for one The orchestra should have been automatically offered to him! He was Luther ... enough said!

Tiday Luther Vandross would have been 73 years old!!!😢
  • 2024, still listening to one of the greatest singers that music will live forever.
  • I had Luther on the walkman as a kid every night before sleep. It washed away the family troubles that day which we all get subjected too, made my sleep so peaceful and happy. Luther give me the understanding that only love is real ❤ waking up with a sense of hope and love for a better day. bless you king Luther 🙏🏽

Who in this World does NOT love the Legendary Luther Vandross; one of the best male singers of all times! When I married in 1998, my hubby and I made sure that "Here and Now" would be sung by one of our closest friends! I truly miss Luther Vandross!
  • Luther's talent was from The Almighty God Himself.I was lucky to be on his very last show in South Africa in my home town Durban ,after he finished sing his closing song suddenly there was such sadness as if something bad just happened I felt like crying little did I know that it was his last show I will never forget that kind of sadness Luther Vandros music was something out of this world!!

Still listening in 2024. I was fortunate to see Luther twice here in Chicago. He's an icon.
  • I actually cried like a baby, playing his songs and watching his videos, when he passed. A for sure icon to me. I thank God I got the chance to see him live in concert twice. This man had a lot to do with all three of my children being produced outside of my Savior( that fireplace, love making music) and believe it or not, the third one I was on birth control. My kids are the biggest love of my life today. R.I. P Love you Luther and always will forever.
  • Luther Vandross was class personified. Something that was a rare in those days, and is almost obsolete now in the music industry. I could go on listening to and watching these videos for the rest of my life.

2024 we still love you. Wish you were here to show these millennials and genzes what music really is❤🎉classy
  • It’s sad when some of these singers, rappers, or what they choose to call themselves can’t compete with a dead man. Take notes from Luther. He was one in a million. Such class.

Even. Ow in 2024 I listen to Mr van dross and become transported by the perfection and elegance of his vocals and polished performances. I listen to him every month for many many years. He lives. What a timeless legacy. Gratitude.
  • I love Luther a lot. My friend is not a big fan of his music, but I tried to convince her even though she plays him for me. I still convince her to become a big fan anyway I’m very sad that he died. I will always miss you. Rest in peace. Love you. You Luther.
