For all the YouTube firefighters that believe they could’ve done a better job…. The original fire building is the one on the right…. It’s believed fire started in between the basement and first floor between the two buildings… Fire was already mainly knocked down in the original fire building (The right side) during most of the video Just because you don’t see something in the video does not mean it hasn’t happened or happening….
-
That screen door just disintegrated when the firefighter pushed it open 😂
-
Great video. Thank you for no annoying or unneeded narration.
-
Great catch...Congrats!
-
Awesome work by fdny keep it up there
-
Great footage
-
Are shared basements between dwellings a norm up in the northeast?
-
Nice coverage. Plenty to see. Showing some of the rigs in attendance always nice.
-
Hat glass in exposure2 , seems to be pretty strong!
-
Why keep breaking the windows on the second fl if there was not heat/fire or smoke venting out?
-
I have one question why was the old lady first one to make entrance to the front door why they didn’t get the key from her what if fire come out the door when she opened it and why the hell of them standing in the way lol
-
Was that a silver extinguisher the crew took in the front door at the start, I mean apart from the obvious why do they take that in to a fire that size? Do they use it for small spot fires on over haul
-
dont know what impressed me the most... the two ladys standing beside, casualy watching, not even impressed, the mount of people going inside, or the one dude going inside a burning house with his fire proof bunker jacket open, dont evenr carrying bout cancer n stuff. i love the fdny, sweet greets from hamburg, germany.

Hate those storm doors, I guess Hercules was coming out. Guys stop taking out windows when there is NO heat. Most of those double panes have slides on top to open them. Unneeded damage and a threat to the lads below.
-
why do they have to smash all the windows when all they needed to do was open them thought you were supposed to save the property not wreck it
-
So many people on here roasting these guys for doing things a certain way. Meanwhile the FDNY sees more fires in a month than some departments see in a decade. Everything is done for a reason whether the audience understands it or not. These guys do this on a regular basis, they know what they’re doin.

Bro I thought the chick in the purple shower curtain was gonna take the nozzle from the first due engine. WTF
-
The firefighters did more damage than the fire.
-
Man officer on Engine 306 needs a redo on the test. Going interior with the jacket open what the fuck

Water streight away!!
