BBC Radio 1's Matt Edmondson meets a YouTube star, a business guru and a nine-year-old CEO. Recent studies suggest that a third of British kids under 16 say they would like to run a company when they grow up. But there are some children who don’t want to wait that long.
Matt discovers how the kids were inspired to choose their careers, how much money they make and what the future holds for their businesses.

If I had children, I'd definitely push them to pursue their gifts and passions. This is awesome.

The robot boy can actually build branches all over, and build apps too. Many kids want to learn about robots and exchange ideas too.

Wow. I’m 17 and turning 18 in less than 6 months. And my math level according to Khan Academy is only grade 2, and afterwards I’m struggling with aspects of grade 3. Didn’t realize how deep in a hell pit I’ve fallen and this kid is invested his time to do something extraordinary. I barely spelled the last word. Just wow

Such an inspiring story

Callus used to be in my school. He was troublesome but he exceeded all of our expectations. Just because you aren't good at a subject it doesn't mean you can be good at another ?

I'm not trying to be a negative person here but I just wish (and hope) that they enjoyed their childhood when they still used to play toys, hang out with friends, and live like kids. Kids that don't know much what's goin' on in the world but still are having fun. Just to be clear, I don't have any hate on these kids as I am a kid myself (possibly, the same with their age). I actually admire their determination in doing/getting what they want. 😁
