both are great. two things I like more on Hot Wheels boards, the Bushings (Tech decks are to loose) and the shape is perfect.. I remember the old shape of the old Tech Decks, very old Tech Decks. Their shape was so small, it was difficult to learn a good Kickflip :D the new shape are so better.. good old times :D

grabbed one in the wild for $3.50. Obviously it's not as cool as a real wood board with bearing wheels... but one great plus is unlike tech decks you never have to worry about your truck nuts and stuff coming loose and flying all over the place. I'm sure we all spent many times on the floor looking everywhere for tiny bushing pieces or wheels that fell.

even though I've never tried a tech deck and use a hw fingerboard, ITS JUST SUPERIOR, - Hot Wheels Fingerboards are amazing for movement and popping. - A Tech Deck Fingerboard though is amazing for tricks and seems better in material. But just to sum up, a Hot Wheels Fingerboard with foam grip tape would be amazing. I'm gonna try it too ;)
