www.vladtv.com/ - China Mac was recently released after serving 10 long years in prison for shooting one of Jin's associates, and sat down for an exclusive interview with VladTV to reflect on his prison sentence and address his current situation with Jin.

He explained in great detail how he and a few others initially confronted Jin in the bathroom inside of a Chinatown bar, when Jin's associate came rushing in allegedly holding a knife, which resulted in China Mac shooting him in the back even though he intended to shoot him in the head. Mac was on the run from authorities for a year before he was arrested in Seattle, Washington, while attempting to make his way past the Canadian border. He recalled cutting people for phone calls in Rikers Island, and how relieved he was when he got sentenced to 11 years, because he initially thought that he was going to be doing life behind bars.

Mac claims that Jin pointed him out to the authorities in a photo lineup, which greatly contributed to his arrest. Two weeks prior to China Mac's release, he received a letter from Jin for the first time in 10 years in order to clear the air. Jin explained in the letter how he's grown and found his faith through God, and Mac replied by assuring him that there was no remaining bad blood between them. He even spoke to Jin in person at Total Slaughter and they officially put their past to rest. China Mac explained how he doesn't believe that Jin "snitched" or "ratted" on him, because Jin is not a gangster, and therefore does not have to abide by the code of the streets. He believes that snitching only applies to those who are "about that life," and if a regular citizen gives up information to the police about a certain situation, they are only doing what they are supposed to do.

Looking back at this video, and seeing the way Mac was back then compared to how Mac is now. Good to see him grow as a person.

Some people find it strange an Asian guy sounds hood and doing bids in prison. Be honest, It could just mean you're pretty sheltered and don't go to places like NYC, Chicago, LA etc too much. Your only images of Asians is that suburban nerdy kid with immigrant parent, doing your math homework. Your environment make what you are, not your skin tone or race.

I had no idea this shit would be this interesting when I clicked on it. You have to respect him because he takes full responsibility for his actions instead of assigning blame.
  • It’s 2019 n Mac just did an interview with Jin and made peace or at least found inner peace with each other on the situation.

He is 100% correct about the difference between telling and snitching. Civilians do what they got to do. Once you get in the game, you no longer have that "pass." You live by different rules.

I respect dude for telling his story, admitting he was wrong, made peace with whom it regarded, and moved on. The biggest thing I applaud is his awareness of the whole snitching thing and that he understood the difference between people in that lifestyle and people who aren't. That maturity and understanding is exactly what this world needs because even though he was a wild dude at one point he ended it in the best way possible. Instead of coming home with the agenda to get revenge and continue the cycle of violence. Much respect on that part.

  • Respect to him and his feelings about Jin...not too many people would feel that way. Great interview!
  • There is no such thing as sounding "Black", "White" or "Asian". Accents are regional or geographical. A black person who's raised in an affluent geographical area, environment or community and gets to reap the benefits of having been raised in such an environment (Access to great Education, exposure and interaction with other well to do and affluent individuals) will sound exactly as the majority of the people from that particular environment.

As a New Yorker y'all spend a second in Rikers and you will be singing a different tune. Ppl die in Rickers because it's real in there. I got mad respect for Mac for surviving 3 yrs in there and doing another straight 10 up top!! If you from NY all the real ones know it's survival of the fittest. Period!
