I think Morocco is the cleanest country in the world, with heartfelt love to my Moroccan brothers and sisters from Turkey.
  • 11:46 Omg you missed the American Legation in Tangier, America's oldest diplomatic property in the world. The building is very beautiful, it is the only national landmark outside the US.

Tangier is probably the most beautiful city in Morocco, with lovely white buildings, great weather and nice beach. A true mediterranean experience

Tangiers actually wasn't under Spanish rule; it was run as an International Zone during the time when the rest of the country was split between France and Spain. The British and Germans had the upper hand in the International City, and it was a haven for spies and a refuge for gay folk who wanted to escape the restrictions of Europe at the time.

the map of the world you saw. is one of the first world maps made by a Man from Tangier called Asharif alidrissi . and that map was realised with no sophisticated tools like the one we have these days ( no satellites. no telescops...) long ago they used to read/use maps upside down . that's one of our Moroccan prides :D !!!
  • I was in Tangier the weekend before 9/11/2001. Took the ferry from Spain and stayed at the El Minzah. Great trip. ๐Ÿ‘

Omg it looks sooooo beautiful. That sea boulevard tho. Breathtaking. Also that hotel, the medina, omg the details is amazing. Morocco should be a top destination for tourism. Beautiful country, nice people, and the food is great.

Looks like a mix of Rio de Janeiro and San Francisco, it reminds me so well of these cities! I think really Tangier is the most northernmost city in Africa and it looks more beautiful than Cape Town and Marrakech! Really the most beautiful city in Africa!

the star is an old Moroccan star . it's the moorish star that used to be on Moroccan flags during different dynasties especially during the Merinid reign( and way before that when Morocco was called the kingdom of Mauritania ) some moorish flags are now in museums in Spain after the queen isabelle Chased muslims from alandalus they kept the flag so to celebrate the defeat of muslims in alabdalous.
