I feel like the big reason Callum struggled was quite clear to see. It's that Canelo is operating on a different speed level to him. Just two fighters operating in different time zones. Always gonna be a losing battle. He has elite quickness ON TOP of everything else. That's a hard mountain to climb.

Guys, he had no choice in that fight. He did everything he could. Don't be disappointed in Smith be in awe of Canelo's greatness. That defense is legendary and he is a near flawless technician.

What's interesting about his arm is that Eddy Reynoso, Canelo's trainer, told Canelo to throw more punches towards the arms and shoulders in the early rounds. If you don't understand/speak spanish it went over your head but then again the DAZN translator that is supposed to translate the boxer's corner in between rounds was actually ass at translating anything they were actually saying.
