Sailing my CLC Skerry at Mayflower Beach, Kodiak Island

The wind was blowing pretty strong and gusting that day so I reefed my sail. I circumnavigated Kalsin Island. I made this boat from a kit by Chesapeake Light Craft. It came with a Sprit rig but I wanted something easier to reef so I made this balanced lug from scratch.

    Yes, it's the largest island in Alaska. Glad you are enjoying your boat as well. I watched your video. You have plenty of rivers to sail on. A bit muddy though. I used to live near Woodbridge, Suffolk when I was in the USAF. I'm building a Sooty Tern now.
