Only 63.8 kilos, those aircraft are incredibly efficient these days... :D
  • @tripple7W
I hope this wasn't a heart attack or something like this because the patient would have had the time to die about 47 times...

Wow! Flying with 514 people aboard one plane! However, going from the west coast, LA, to Paris direct requires a lot of fuel for a 10 hr flight. I can only assume that the A380 is considered more economical and comfortable for long hauls. In Nov 2017, an Air France super A380 made an emergency landing in Shannon, Ireland with 543 people aboard after dumping thousands of liters of fuel- they were going from Paris to Mexico City.

Had to chuckle about: "We have it in Kilos." - "Alright, what do you have?" - "63.8" 63.8 kilos wouldn't need an overweight landing though...

And the day is not boring anymore. Well handled on both sides.

Being requested to "give way" during a medical emergency? What am I missing here?

wow such difference between the first guy at the AF compared to the second one when it comes to speaking/understanding English.

Pilot and ATC were very respectful to each other, how come Air France didn't ask to dump fuel if it was an emergency heavy landing?just curious to know, maybe one of the experts on here could tell me. Very interesting video. Thankyou

What was the nature of the medical emergency?

  • @MONRFin
So if it was a medical emergency and they made an overweight landing why didn't they call an ambulance first?
