Ollivanders Wand Shop show in Diagon Alley Universal Orlando

I would be a blubbering mess if I was to be chosen. I may be 28 but I still am very much a child at heart.

I love the woman working at Ollivanders' acting. She's not your typical Universal Studios actor; she made it believable. :)

I remember going to the original Ollivander's 3 years ago. My, (at the time) 9 year old brother was chosen by the gent in there to be part of the experience. I can also remember my last night down in Florida going back to the Wizarding World and riding the Forbidden Journey, and being the last riders, myself, my mom, and my other brother walked out of Universal while the park was closed and empty. Nothing beats the feeling when you walk Hogsmeade at night without the crowd. Thank you Ricky for bringing back such wonderful memories. Keep up the good work!

I've seen a few of these, and this woman as the shopkeeper plays the part by far the best, she doesn't make it seem cringy

I remember the first time I went to the Harry Potter world the workers are so into character and I love it. I also remember that my dad knows nothing of Harry Potter (he still doesn't) and me and the workers were just talking about everything Harry Potter as if we were in the movies and my dad is just like "wtf."

If i was in that shop when i was a kid.... my head would explode of happyness.

I first went to Ollivander's when I was eleven to get my wand. But none of the wands there chose me, so Mr. Ollivander reluctantly but politely sent me over to his competitor, Gregorovitch. My mother was rather hesitant because everyone in the family had gotten their wands from Ollivander and my mother admired Mr Ollivander very much. So I went to Gregorovitch, and the first wand I held was the 10¼", Hornbeam, dragon heartstring core wand, and it chose me. I’m the only one in my family to have a wand made by Gregorovitch.

What?! I would have geeked out so hard! Holly & Phoenix Feather?! That's the same as Harry's wand! I got Chesnut w/ Phoenix Feather 14 1/2 inches.

I really like that there are different "tasks" the wizard tests in the room. I saw on another video "plant" that you try to water. And the employee was different also. This makes the experience much more unique, and repeatable.

I only recently re-read the Ollivanders scene in Philosopher's Stone and I was reminded that the opening speech was lifted directly from the book!
