Another awesome detail is that after Peter hits MJ she asks, "Who are you?" and he replies, "I don't know." I believe that this is meant to parallel this same question that she asked him in the first film after he saved her at the parade. The only difference is that in the first film he confidently told her that he's Spider-Man, while his reply of "I don't know" in 3 really highlights how he's losing himself.

The fact he has stirrups to keep his pants from riding up feels like a call back to the elevator scene when he tells the guy "its rides in the groin a bit" he don diddly fixed that issue

There's also another good easter egg I spotted in this movie: When Peter looks up at MJ through her window, she appears to not notice him, but as he walks away, she immediately turns around a watches him do so. This is from Spiderman 2 when MJ does the same thing when meeting up with her boyfriend after the play.

The actual "birth" of Venom in this movie, the entire church scene in fact, was awesomely done. That said, the current Venom is a much better version of the character.

You forgot to mention that there’s a little piece of “venom” that is slithering away from the fire.

This might be an easter egg you missed but when MJ goes to call Harry the street name is Harry St. When Peter and Harry talk about MJ the street name is Jane St.

This is my favorite of the trilogy. I grew up with it. One of the first movies I ever saw in theaters. It holds a special place in my heart. I Don’t understand why people hate on it. This is my childhood man. It was the first time I ever started to theorize too.
