I have a cousin that grew up and lived in the city all his life. He came to the family reunion for the first time in the country. At night when the crickets and frogs started making sound he asked, "What's that?" I asked him, "What's what?" He said, "That noise." I then realized that he had never heard these night sounds ever.

This recording reminds me of camping trips that I took with my family over forty-five years ago. I used to lie awake and listen to the sounds of the night. I loved that time so long ago. It's a blast from the past.

Ok, I have chronic insomnia but I turned this on at midnight and it is now 12:30. Just after noon and my Man just woke me up before he had to go to work. I have not slept this well in a year. Thank you so much for this upload. It is amazing! It's a miracle.

You‘re living in a house out of wood. You sit on the balcony and watch the river passing by. You have a nice hot chocolate and in front of you is a tiny fire that warms you a little bit. In the near your cat lays on it‘s favorite pillow and your dog lays in front of the fire. You hear the crickets, the river calmly floating and smell the hot chocolade. This is how I am feeling right now

This is so peaceful. I'm sitting in a dark room with a fake campfire made of little battery operated lights set to orange, red, and yellow. With a few little fake butterflies fluttering around. Its beautiful

I just meditated for an hour straight to this, at night in a dark room. I have never felt more at peace with myself, it was like I was there sitting by the lake, so much so that when I finally opened my eyes it felt like I had just teleported back to my room.

This video sounds pretty authentic. Its NOT too many sounds over each other, its nature. I just moved to Nebraska a year and a half ago for a job and the one thing that I really miss about Pennsylvania is exactly these sounds. This video sounds EXACTLY like I'm back in PA. I love the Midwest west, but man, I really miss the forests back home. Great vid.

This video has the clearest sound of crickeets that I have found. I really like this. I lived on a farm once, and all you heard at night was crickeets and an occasional dog barking in the distance. I wish I had stayed there. February 2, 2018
